Kelly's Snowflake Hat

I finally finished embellishing my sister's hat today. All I have left to do is line it with fleece so she's extra warm. Here it is:
It took forever to knit it and add the tassels, ropes, and pom pom because I was pretty much making it all up as I went along (which I have never done before). Add to that the pressure of knitting it for someone you love and this one was quite the intimidating little project for me.


I really love the way it turned out and I hope my sister does too!


I think this hat is super adorable and I can't wait to give it to her! Now I have to start her boyfriend's hat, which I am hoping to also have done when I go home to visit them on Thursday.
